By now College Audition Prep Weekend has helped place a number of student performers in university musical theater degree programs. I rather like to think of us as the "matchmaker" providing the opportunity for students, parents and faculty from various colleges to have those initial conversations fro which relationships bloom. Caleb Barnett is a great example- when he attended his first CAPW he asked if I could help him find a pair of tap shoes- size 18! Well, that's literally a tall order! We eventually connected them with Miller and Ben out of NYC who fixed him up. Caleb is a second year musical theater major with Greg White at University of Central Oklahoma and doing terrifically. You can see him this summer in Garland Summer Musicals production of MAMMA MIA and in CAREY, THE MUSICAL at Casa Manana! We appreciate the shout out Caleb!
